What Citizens Advice can help with, especially relevant for GP practices & patients;
- For patients with non-health issues affecting their wellbeing (e.g. financial stress, housing, benefits, debt), CAB can provide advice, help fill in forms, appeal decisions, etc.
- For GPs, CAB / GNWCAB / others can be referral partners: you might refer a patient to the CAB, or have materials / contact info in your practice.
- Patients can use CAB to understand NHS patient rights (via PASS), e.g. complaints, giving feedback, support navigating healthcare. CitizensAdvice+1
