Dermatology Appointment Information
If you are contacting the practice regarding a rash, eczema, or any ongoing dermatology concern, please read the following guidance before booking:
✅ Ongoing or Long-Term Skin Issues
- If your skin condition is ongoing or recurrent, please book a routine GP appointment (not an emergency/on-the-day appointment).
- If you are currently under hospital dermatology care, you may still book a routine appointment, or a same-day appointment if advised by secondary care.
📧 Photo Submission Required
To help the GP assess your condition accurately, please email a clear photograph of your rash/skin condition to: 📨 ggc.gp43542clinical@nhs.scot
Please include:
- Your full name
- Date of birth
- Brief description of the issue (e.g., how long it's been present, symptoms such as itching, pain, spreading, etc.)
📞 Telephone Appointment First
- Your initial consultation will usually be a telephone appointment.
- If the GP feels a physical examination is required, you will be offered a face-to-face appointment.
